Do you guys get a version of the Revenue Canada scam, " We have a warrant out for your arrest, unless you pay your taxes owing by end of today ? " Bit unnerving to say the least.

It would take 60 withdrawals of $5,000 to get the entire $300,000. However, the most any ATM can distribute is $500 at a time. So that means it would take a minimum of 600 ATM withdrawals to get the money.

Further, banks limit machine withdrawals to something like $1,000, $1,500, or $2,500 per working day, depending on the bank and the account. Weekends count as Friday withdrawals so the maximum days to withdraw is five days per week. If the account authorized withdrawing $2,500 per day it would take withdrawing money every business day for about six months to get the money!

Finally, because ATMs only distribute in $20 bills, the recipient would be getting paid 15,000 bills. A standard briefcase holds about 7,800 bills. The lucky winner would have two briefcases full of cash.
