I recall, as a young kid of 6 or 7, going to "Donkey Basketball" and "Donkey Baseball" games put on by the local volunteer fire departments. Laughing so hard I almost lost my caramel popcorn/Coca-Cola lunch.

Donkey Basketball was a traveling business that went from school to school in the mid-west and south. They always were $.25-.50 a ticket that was sold by VFW, Amer Legion, etc.as a fund raiser in the spring.
If you were a jr high age kid you peed in your pants laughing.

I played in a few of those games way,way back.
The best part was I was no worse trying to make a basket while on the donkey then off.
