Here's the shocker of the year, and right here in Idaho.
Near Carey, Idaho, there was a volcanic blowhole that left a mass looking like a mans' head facing out from a rock outcropping. The blow formed looking like an African American's head with the bubbles of lava for the curly hair.
You will never guess what it was named, and still is?
I used to take an old man Tom Stephens out hunting, shooting + fishing et/al. He was born in 1913 so some one needed to do it;I wanted to.He used to call a nigger a nigger because it was not a degoratory term, only a way of speech from his age.He grew up with them in La.It seems only the new one ones have a problem.Tom told me of the nights he spent with his friend;whose dad was a sawyer (he made money!) Thus he had 24 kids.Tom says he remembers the mama baking all those biscuits on that wood cook stove.Tom has past now,I honor my time with him + memories.A bit of the point but still appropo non the less IMO.
It used to be a term of endearment by blacks for blacks. I saw it growing up. Over time it has morphed, thanks to some bad whites, KKK history, and the ultra left leaning liberals. Now it's ok for you to say the F word, or any other vile or derogatory word, but not the N word.
