A guy walks into a bar and orders a martini with an olive. The bartender serves him. The guy carefully removes the olive and puts it into a small glass jar and then drains the drink.

This goes on for some time. Always the olive is removed and deposited in the glass jar.

Finally the guy staggers out the door carrying his jar of olives.

A customer remarks to the bartender: " "That is mighty peculiar behaviour".

The bartender shrugs and says: " What's peculiar about it? His wife sent him out for a jar of olives".
