Road trip with Frank

I took a trip with Frank, my pet llama(a bottle baby), to KC MO. It was such fun! I pretty much stayed in the right(slow) lane about 3 miles under the speed limit. I must tell you, Frank is happiest when sitting on my lap with his head at/out the window. You should have seen it. Cars would go wizzing by and suddenly they would tap the brakes and slow down to pace me so they could see if they saw what they thought they saw! I had them pass, slow and get in front of me so I would have to pass them, then they would pass me again, so everyone in the car/van could get a look. I had two out of state vehicles pace me that brought out cameras and took pictures. How are they going to explain those pictures from their vacation? "Look at these hicks in Missouri, they drive around with llamas on their laps?" The best was a tour bus that passed and then slowed, you could see the bus litterally lean to the right as everyone aboard came to that side to get a look. I am suprised we didn't cause an accident. I was hanging around Childrens Mercy Hospital while my passenger was at Truman Med Center. One of their security guards wanted to know if Frank "was a real llama?" I told him "nope, he's fake, it's two midgets in a llama suit." FAQ- why are you walking a llama? (doesn't everyone walk their pet llama?) where did you get it? (I own the parents) how much did he cost? (nothing, I own the parents)-follow up question- do you have any more llamas? (I had just told them I owned the parents) what kind of dog is that? (the people who sold it to me said it was a chocolate lab) is that an emu? (an emu is a bird and has wings and feathers) is it a miniature? (he's only 11 weeks old, how big were you at 11 weeks?) is it a goat? (TOO STUPID TO DISERVE AN ANSWER) does he bite and can I pet him? (if YOU promise not to bite, I think he'll let you pet him) does he spit? (he's only 11 weeks old, and I haven't taught him any nasty habits). There were other stupid questions, but I think you get the drift. Man, did I have fun!!! If only I had a digital camera, I would post pictures.

He he he

Did anyone read MAD Magazine as a kid??? I always loved Al Jaffe's "Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions."

My wife can't figure out why I'm so sarcastic - go figure.
