West Virginia woman claims paramour had venereal disease

SEPTEMBER 1--Meet Mollie Hardbarger. The 73-year-old West Virginia woman is sitting in a Mountain State lockup after pumping a .22-caliber slug into her 69-year-old husband's stomach earlier this week. According to a criminal complaint filed in Ritchie County Magistrate Court, Mollie told cops she shot her hubby Hallie "because he was having sex with a local female." And, as if it wasn't bad enough he was stepping out with someone from the 'hood, "this particular female had a venereal disease." Ouch. The septuagenarian, who has been charged with malicious wounding, faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty. Meanwhile, Hallie is in critical condition in a local hospital's intensive care unit.

In some ways, I can't blame him. She looks like she forgot to shave!
