A guy walked into the local welfare office to pick up his cheque
He marched straight up to the counter and said, "Hi. You know; I just HATE drawing welfare. I'd really rather have a job."

The social worker behind the counter said, "Your timing is excellent. We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a Chauffeur and bodyguard for his beautiful daughter. You'll drive his 2016 Mercedes-Benz CL and he will supply all of your clothes. Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll also be expected to escort the daughter on her overseas holiday trips. This is rather awkward to say, but you will also as part of your job description have to satisfy her sexual urges. The daughter is in her mid-20's and has a rather strong sex drive."

The guy in wide-eyed amazement said, "You're ********ting' me riht!"

The social worker said: "Yeah, well . You started it". jc

Here's a true story. Back around 2003 I was big on drag racing my 1966 Mustang fastback at Maple Grove. Car was worth around $15,000 at the time, engine cost was about $8K. Wheels and Hoosier tires alone were worth an easy $1700. Long story short, being a regular at the track, the tech guy asked what racing number do you want on your windshield? We agreed on 1000 and I left it on the windshield right above my 12.38 dial-in and drove it to my business the following Monday being it was close and a really nice day. Some guy comes knocking at my door and asked me if that is my car and wanted to know if it is for sale for $1,000 dollars! I couldn't believe it. Well, he had a hard time taking no for an answer since he hoped and thought he hit the jackpot. It took me 10 minutes to convince him the car was not for sale.

Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.
