{UPI NEWSWIRE SERVICE} Officials of the Tour de France have today announced that they were stripping the United States bicycle racer and current 6 time winner of the Tour De France Lance Armstrong of his latest title and win because he has tested positive for substances that have been declaired illegal in France. Officials report that "definate traces of soap, toothpaste, and deodorant were found during routine testing on the last day of the race. As these substances have been declaired illegal, we are also charging Lance with smuggling and posession of illegal substances. We have a warrant out for his arrest". The United States Embassy has filed a formal complaint with the international human rights commission in Switzerland, saying "these substances are everyday use products in many countries around the world. Lance did not know they were banned in France. He appologises profusely and promises that next year when he wins title # 7, he will be "as smelly and slovenly as any frog out there"". | ||
