I know it's a joke so haha. It has been 80 years since she was lost, it has been a subject of great interest over the years. She was the 1st aviatrix after Beryl Markham did it 1st (admittedly Beryl's flight was across the Atlantic +, not the Pacific + not intended to be around the global circumnavigation.). There is an article in the current National Geography History magazine about current findings 80 years after the fact. Once again I apologize as I know this is the humor column but there is always a chance that someone out there is interested in true history.

You got that right. Her other book is called "Splendid Outcast" is good as well. She used to spot elephant herds for Bror Blixen + knew everybody who was anybody in the day. She did live a very full life.
