Basic Flying Rules
Try to stay in the middle of the air.
Do not go near the edges of it.
The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground,
buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space.
It is much more difficult to fly there.

You know that your landing gear is up and locked when it takes full
Power to taxi to the terminal.

Three thing that have absolutely no value when flying.

1. Fuel on the ground.
2. Runway behind you.
3. Air above you.

There is a sign over the doorleaving the pilot lounge at the Brownwood, Tx. Muni that reads:

Remember: The pilot is always the first at the scene of a crash.

I always thought that this was true too, until I was on a FAM trip to england when the captain informed me that the good thing aout the 747 is that in an accident the first 4 rows of first class get it first......Muffin
