Shorty and Lucy were an old farm couple that had been married thirty years. They worked hard from sunup to sundown. On one occasion after a long day, Shorty and Lucy had supper and retired to the bedroom. Shorty stripped off and plopped down on the bed. Lucy decided to step into the bathroom to freshin up for her man. Lucy started to disrobe, she took off her dress and Shorty laid there taking all this in says, Lucy I believe you're addin on some weight. This hurt Lucy's feelings but Shorty was right she had picked up a couple extra lbs this week, so she slipped off her slip and had made a couple steps more toward the bathroom and Shorty says, Lucy I do believe you're ass is as wide as my combine. This really hurt her feelings but then again she was getting a little heavier so she proceeded to disrobe till she was totally naked in from of her man, she was about to step into the shower to freshin up for him and Shorty says, Lucy I do declared I believe you're ass is as wide as both our combines. That was the last straw, PISS on Shorty, Lucy spins around, crawls into bed and turns away from Shorty and says GOODNIGHT. Shorty lays there for a minute or two, complete silence, and says Lucy I thought we were going to get a little frisky, Lucy says, SHORTY, I'M NOT GOING TO WASTE MY TIME, STARTING UP THESE TWO COMBINES, TO HARVEST A HALF A EAR OF CORN.
