Funny! Here is a true story. A friend of mine by the name of Tony P. was # 2 under Bob Bullock here in the Texas Legislature. He also made his main money being a speechwriter. He was approached by a certain legislator to write him a speech. Anyway, Tony quoted him a price for the speech + the guy was a cheapskate + told him he would only pay $600.00. O.K., Tony agreed to do it for $600.00. When the guy got up to give his speech (did I mention that he was an idiot as well, to never read it beforehand?) he got through several pages + then the rest were blank, + he was on the podium. Well, Tony gave him his $600.00s worth.

Tony was a great guy; he passed a few years ago but when deliverered , he was the optima of the "Gentle man' Chicken rancher, which was Tony's 'hobby' + real pursuit in life; he would show up every Saturday morning with a dozen of fresh, brown, 'yard eggs' for a dollar a dozen. I miss those days + I miss Tony.
