| John Kerry's daughter at the Cannes Film Festival showing off the sort of upbringing her allegedly Catholic father provided. Disgusting. H. C. |

Ease up. She's not John Kerry. Why attack a man through his daughter? |

| Hmmm... An adult woman at a film festival wearing a revealing dress - this doesn't bother me. It's not like John Kerry was wearing the dress. |

| I doubt seriously she was aware that a direct flash will do that to some materials. At least she is young enough not be too terrible to look at. I have had this happen with some past prime women and it is very disheartening to see it suddenly and un-aware. And I don't know that her dad is very aware either. |

| Just curious. Is she from his first gold digger marriage or his second gold digger marriage? |

| Maybe we should introduce her to Ass_ Clown and then he could afford a DGR and the masses could stop picking on him. Mr. & Mrs. Ass_Clown - Kerry |

| You are correct Mark. A paparatzi flash does that exactly. I want to thank you for the wonderful gift you sent me from the front. I don't mind hijacking this particualar thread. I was very touched to know you had made arrangements for that photo and really appreciate it. I have your box ready to go and did find a few pieces to send you. Frank |

| I once had a political opponent who had a son that was a thief, drug addict, sold stolen food stamps, and eventually died of AIDS. Nothing in the tragedy of raising a child who gave such pain to his parents made this man unfit for public office (his political philosophy arguably did that!)
Just like the flap over W. Bush's twin's run-in with the law for underage drinking, or Jeb Bush's daughter's addiction and illegal drug purchasing, this says nothing about whether either of them deserves your vote.
I'm a very lucky man who has three children who have turned out well (perhaps to the credit of their mother). But just as I wouldn't ask you to vote for me on the basis of how my children do or don't behave, it's absurd to try to fault John Kerry (or any other politician) for how their children may or may not appear in the conduct of their private lives.
And this is in the humor thread? |

| She's thirty, too old to be from the second marraige to the Commy from Africa. BTW Paul, a whole month? Why wait that long? Now about that pic, this isn't the first time this has happened to a "celebrity" and not just to the young ones either! 90 percent of the time it's unintentional, fabrics that appear solid to the naked eye can appear tranparent when used with a flash. I think that if it was deliberate, she wouldn't have worn "granny" panties. British papers like the Sun thrive on this sort of thing. If you think that's good, a couple of years ago there was a big flap about porn makers using Sony camcorders with nightshot and a UV filter that could see right through clothing. Sony changed the way camcorders work, but the filming of people in public settings with their clothes semi transparent continues Toolmaker |

| Mark, Frank,
Fair enough. I've seen similar in my wife's fashion magazines, and I have always taken it to be intentional.
