For five generations Ole and his wife Lena have lived in North Dakota on the North Dakota-Montana border wheat farming.

Last summer a survey crew from the US Geological Service came by. They told them that there were some inaccuracies in border delineation.
They were nice young people, and Lena took to them like a Mother Hen with chicks. Had them in for meals, etc.
When they left they promised to let them know what the survey showed.
About two weeks ago they got a letter in the mail from the USGS.

"Dear Ole and Lena,

this is to inform you that GPS has shown that you are actually about two miles inside the Montana border."

Lena turned to Ole as he read her the letter and said "Thank the Lord. At our age I don't think we could have stood another one of those cold North Dakota winters.".
