On one of those jeep tours that some generals like to take around the post, he notices a private who is roaming around and picking up every piece of paper he sees.

At first the general thinks the private is just policing the area. He orders his driver to stop. As he walks over he sees the private pick up a piece of paper - and throw it away - muttering "That's not it!". Repeatedly the private does this and always throwing away the piece of paper and muttering " That's not it!".

The general orders that the private be taken for medical and psychiatric examination.

The private's general health is found to be A-OK but he is considered to be deranged because of his behaviour.

The private is given an honorable discharge for medical reasons. As he is being processed, his honorable discharge document is handed to him.

The private reads it and beams: " "That's it!"
