| Seen a book in a truckstop, travelling through Louisiana once. "COONCAN BOY OF THE SWAMP" with a boy and his dog in a pirogue on the cover. I laughed for miles and miles...kinda like now. BABOOOOOM!

| Maybe someone has heard of this name - Abkhazia. This is a small unrecognized Republic between Sochi and Georgia. There, in the capital, Sukhumi, was primatological centre with thousands of monkeys. When 20 years ago there was a civil war, some of them ran away and started living on the outskirts of villages. The war was used minefields, but the monkeys were not able to read the writing on the plates about "mines". Therefore, could see baboons with a lesser number of feet and hands, and local residents rejoiced when heard the explosion - because baboons inflicted great damage to the gardens and the gardens, the only source of food at that time. More no benefit from these mines, they say, was not. |
