I find myself to be one of the lucky ones that grew up in a small neighborhood, in a small city. One of my favorite families is that of Jewish faith.I was raised a Methodist, but sorry to say that the last time I attended a church, it was for a funeral. I've known this family for 45 years.I am invited to marriages, funerals,Bar mitzvahs,Birthday Parties, and my favorite....Hannukah get togethers.(Feast of Lights is what I envision.)And the food....oh my. At just about all of these gatherings, there are always the same two Nan-naws,as they are known as, picking on each other.Constantly. Both have known me since I was in diapers.I love them both, who couldn't? Back to topic...... Nan-Naw 1.."What happened to your hair? It looks like a wig." Nan-Naw 2.."It is a wig." Nan-Naw 1.."Really? Marvelous. I would have never known." My Strength Is That I Can Laugh At Myself, My Weakness Is That I have No Choice. | ||
