I can't believe they had the audacity to high five each other! They should have been saying, "man, that was soooo lucky, we really f*#^$d up that time and almost got killed". Beautiful to see the lion move so fast.

I was watching when the guy told him not to shoot, saying,"what he's got the sticks, a scope, take the damn shot!"

Was it fenced? It looked like they had large poles up, but that could just be some sort of tree I can't make out well enough.

I also thought that on Lion hunts you were supposed to have a shotgun in the group for just such an incident?

I would say that film is a reality check, 3 rifles I bet there was no thought in anyone minds that it would be be sided...wrong
It seemed the lion was hit in the face at point blank just prior to the contact with the hunter, I bet that is what kept that fellow alive. I am surprised that no one was shot with that many people scattered around and the shots goin off. Does anyone know how many times that lion was hit ? seems to me one initial, one on the charge one at PB and then 2 more on his exit. Also what calibers where being used.

I just added one thing to the packing list for Africa, Depends! At least then you don't have to change your pants, just the diaper.
