Although, Idaho, maybe I'm too cautious? How Methodists observe the religious fasting? do They not eat all day, or are there any restrictions on meat, etc.? We have a post when you can't eat the whole day until the first star is for one day only, on Christmas Eve.

Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. John E Pfeiffer, The Emergence of Man

actually on the south side of Idaho we fast one Sunday a month and donate the money we would have spent on the food to needy Christians. we don't deliver it in a box with C-4 or anything extra like they do, we just send the money.

As a back-sliding Methodist married to a devout Catholic I can tell you we fast only between meals, every day of the week. We are very religious about that.
I do get meat on Fridays, but not my wife. I get everything during Lent, except my wife. She's too fast. I can't catch her.
