Reminds me of a day I got caught in a heavy snow near Clearfield Pennsylvania during rifle buck season and became disoriented. After about 2 hours (and 12-14 inches of snowfall) of crossing my old tracks, I picked a hollowed out stump to sit on and relax and fell soundly asleep. After a bit I awoke to the sound of hoof stomping to my right and there were 10 does lined up in a row at the edge of a pine grove watching me sleep. I suppose my snoring caught their curiosity. Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.

Any one who says they never fell asleep in a blind is either a liar or has not been hunting enough. Never mistake motion for action.

Our best one was we were in Zimbabwe hunting. We stopped the truck and walked to check for any elephant spoor. A couple of hundred yards further we came across the tracks of some lions, with cups. We started checking them - rifles - and suddenly came across a very wet patch. It was so fresh, we decided to make haste and get back to the truck. It would not have been very funny for hunters with so many years of experience being caught by a pride of lions unarmed!

Probably funny to some bunny huggers, but definitely not to your group of unprepared hunters. That's when you stab the guy next to you in the leg with your knife so you can outrun him! LORD, let my bullets go where my crosshairs show. Not all who wander are lost. NEVER TRUST A FART!!! Cecil Leonard

The principle of "fair play" suggests that the lions should have a chance. In General drowsiness in the shed - the result, alas, no hunting experience, and age. I read about it in some American article a few years ago, there were analyzed the cases of falling from the platform. I told a friend when was on a business trip in Siberia, and they say, "Oh, but our boss of the garage just fell out of a tree on a hunt, broke his arm in 7 places! And the bear was frightened, as was" If you're hunting for over 30 years, wear your seat belts at altitude.
