Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem. [Ronald Reagan, U.S. President; 1985]

Happy Birthday to my brothers ....

The mania for giving the Government power to meddle with the private affairs of cities or citizens is likely to cause endless trouble, through the rivaly of schools and creeds that are anxious to obtain official recognition, and there is great danger that our people will lose our independence of thought and action which is the cause of much of our greatness, and sink into the helplessness of the Frenchman or German who expects his government to feed him when hungry, clothe him when naked, to prescribe when his child may be born and when he may die, and, in fine, to regulate every act of humanity from the cradle to the tomb, including the manner in which he may seek future admission to paradise.

hmmmm that's what i get for not thinking that this board is published overseas, it's only the 8th here, and the board date is the 9th... posted an announcement on another board about the Marine Corp Birthday, and put it as tomorrow, luckily, i included that it is Nov. 10th to avoid any confusion LOL

Hey leathernecks, just think about this point, where would we be without the Naval Corpsmen? i know they patched me up a few times, outside of combat even LOL i think Corpsmen should be honorary Marines Big Grin

Aa a young pfc I ask an old Gunny if it was true
that the Navy paid more. He told me "No they save more cause they do their own laundry and F### each other."
