A wedding recently took place in the Ozarks, and the reception party followed. It's a long-standing tradition there that the young couple go to the barn during the party to consummate the marriage.

A few minutes after they left the house however, the guests heard a large "BANG" from the barn, and the boy came back to the party on his own.

"What happened?", asked his father. "I shot her, Pa, I shot her dead", replied the young groom. "What in the world did you do that for?", said his Pa. "She was a virgin", replied the young man.

"Good boy son, you done good", said the old man. "If she wasn't good enough for her family, she surely isn't good enough for ours".
