Very, very old, but heard it again from a friend....


Man takes his wife out to dinner. As the courses, and the wine, arrive, he gets progressively the worse for drink.

"I love you. I love you. I really love you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me. I couldn't live without you".

His wife asks "Is that you talking or is it the alcohol talking?"

The man replies. "Neither. It's me talking ABOUT the alcohol".
