I suggest we all send the following letter to our elected representative and two senators . . . If you find yourself still awaiting their reply months in the future then you can begin to think they really don't care about their constituents feelings or that the staff could not find the typical off topic canned letter to respond. Anyway on the the letter Dear elected representative: As we enter a new era in our political history and experiencing unprecedented events in our lives, I believe ever more in change, equality, and fairness ! ! ! I believe that the examples being set, and with the wide sweeping promises of President Obama's campaign and those throughout Congress, should be followed by every American ! ! Therefore, let me affirm that I think it is only appropriate that we apply law and tax policy equally. . . The tax law states: "Income taxes are normally due on April 15th unless that date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, in which case they are due on Monday the 16th or 17th." However, I have been told of a recent change pending ... for the next 4 years, taxes will not be due until you are nominated to a cabinet position and that fees and penalties will be dropped for all. I think this is a fantastic policy. How about you ? Don't limit your challenges . . . Challenge your limits | ||
