As was the custom in his village, a Chinese father takes his new born son to see a fortune teller.

The fortune teller tells him that she has some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that his son will grow up to be a great man and powerful leader like his father.

The bad news is that the father of the boy will die on the boy's sixth birthday.

For the next six years the father spends every waking hour working tirelessly to provide for and educate his boy.

On the eve of the boy's sixth birthday the father prepares himself for death. He makes out his will and dresses in his finest suit before lying down on his bed.

The next morning he wakes up and the sun is shining and the bird's are singing.

He joyously rushes downstairs, where he finds his wife crying hysterically.

He shouts "Why are you crying? The fortune teller lied. I'm alive, I'm alive."

" Uncle Wong is dead", sobs the wife

Bet the poor sap doesn't have a clue.
