I was unaware of LIONS in Mexico, but after checking out these photos, I guess I was incorrect. I have seen a lot of “UNUSUAL” animals in Mexico, but this is a new one.

Apparently, the owner of a gas station was fed up with the break ins he was having, so he took matters into his own hands, literally. Posted a sign around the perimeter fence CAUTION, LIONS IN COMPOUND. Whatever works.

Reminds me of the days when, underage, I went to Tijuana to go drinking. There were always burros painted with black and white stripes on the street and hawkers yelling "Ride the Mexican Tiger!"
