F-16 vs C-130 A C-130 was lumbering along when a cocky F-16 flashed by. The jet jockey decided to show off. The fighter jock told the C-130 pilot, "Watch this!" and promptly went into a barrel roll followed by a steep climb. He then finished with a sonic boom as he broke the sound barrier. The F-16 pilot asked the C-130 pilot what he thought of that? The C-130 pilot said, "That was impressive, but watch this!" The C-130 droned along for about 5 minutes and then the C-130 pilot came back on and said, "What did you think of that?" Puzzled, the F-16 pilot asked, "What the heck did you do?" The C-130 pilot chuckled and said, "I stood up, stretched my legs, walked to the back, took a leak, then got a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll." The moral of the story is: When you are young and foolish - speed and flash may seem a good thing! When you get older and smarter - comfort and dull is not such a bad thing! Us older folks understand this one. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= DRSS; NRA; Illinois State Rifle Association; Missouri Sport Shooting Association “One of the sad signs of our times is that we have demonized those who produce, subsidized those who refuse to produce, and canonized those who complain.” – Thomas Sowell, “The Vision Of The Anointed: Self-Congratulation As A Basis For Social Policy” .

And don't forget the earlier conversation with the 747 pilot: (Flying through a cold front) "How's the weather down there?" "Not too bad, how's the pay up there?" for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

The Thud. Sorry I couldn't find the lyrics. http://www.fighterpilotunivers...gs/i-m-a-thud-pilot/ Grizz Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. If Air Force and F-100's, I'd be Thunderbirds, perhaps? Blues were Navy/Marine and had F-11's back then. I know you're proud of your dad! I'd be too... JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.
