Mary is married to Charlie, a real "male chauvinist' as described in all the women's magazines. Although there are several small children in the family, he won't lift a finger around the house. Any request for help is met with: " That's women's work".

Mary also works a full time job along with Charlie. One day, however, she arrives home and finds that Charlie took the day off and cleaned the entire house from top to bottom. The children have been fed, bathed and put to bed. Charlie cooked the dinner and even has fresh flowers on the table.

Mary ( being no fool) questions Charlie about this complete about face on his part. He finally admits that he read an article in one of those women's magazines that said that a husband who helps out his wife makes her more romantically inclined. In fact, as the article said, it would give her the "hots" for him.

Next day at the office, Mary tells some girlfriends about all this. They want to know if she and Charlie had a real good time in bed.

Mary replies sadly: " Charlie was too tired".
