If the contract called for a lump sum, all they would have to do is nothing, or close to it. You could count on them to fund defense, dince they would want the countryin condition to pay up. If the contract was piecework-based, they would simply pass laws one at a time, repealing almost everything ever enacted, and they could back up each repeal as being absolutely essential to conforming the law to the Constitution. Needless to say, with a contract payable in dollars, they would put us back on the gold standard. This is sounding better & better the more I think about it! | ||
