I just finished reading Mel Brooks autobiography + it is hilarious + a damned fine read. I recommend it. There is a mention in there when he talks about his 2000 year old man skit that he did with Carl Reiner. I listened to the albums years ago but he told one that I had not heard. Carl is the interviewer, Carl: So since you're that old were you there for the American Revolution? Mel, Yes I was. Carl: So did you know Paul Revere? Mel: I sure did; that anti-semite bastard. Carl: What do you mean? Mel: He thought we were trying to move into the neighborhood, so he rides his horse up + down the street, crying The Yiddish are coming! The Yiddish are coming! Never mistake motion for action.

Finished it a couple of weeks ago and then had to go back and watch a bunch of the movies. One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know. - Groucho Marx

Rewatched High Anxiety last night + some "Ceasers Hour" Want to watch "To Be or Not to Be" again. My favorite scene is when he's dressed as Hitler + they land in England, I won't say any more + ruin it for any who have not seen it yet. I think it's better than the original 1942 Jack Benny one + that's saying something! Never mistake motion for action.
