The Tour de France was first run in 1903, the 7th Panzer division was first active in 1940.

Since the 7th Panzers under Rommel ran around France like they owned it, it's funnier to say Rommel won the 1940 Tour de France while the riding the 7th Panzer in 1940. Smiler
