Hmmm... It shouldn't have even lurched, unless the key was turned to the 'start' position. After all, these wires are always hooked up, but don't always energize the starter. (What did the writer expect the car to do when he purposely reattached the negative battery cable?) Plus, even of it did crank, the engine should not have started unless the key was turned to the 'run' position. I'm waving the BS flag for now... | ||

BS flag indeed. On all of my vehicles it is the posative lead that goes to the starter. derf | |||
