I just saw some comments by a supposed Russian named "Ivan Chesnokov". Some of his comments are pure gold but I suspect he is a Yankee Anyway, just did a brief search and here are a few of his comments: OK, after some looking at these comments especially where he has some working knowledge of US gun shows, he's definitely a Yank IMHO: http://www.m1-garand-rifle.com/ivan-chesnokov.php for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

Mark, I don't know any Russian firearm expert with this name. I know Sergey Chelnokov, and his manner of communication is very similar , but he knows that the Mosin rifle and the Nagant rifle - are two different rifles, and even wrote a book about it. Russian even blonde do not write Capslock , a man who has mastered the switch keyboards Rus / Lat certainly knows of the existence of the Shift key . I will give a few secrets , no doubt valuable to U.S. intelligence : - Russian do not speak "Nazi " or " Nazist " . Common name " Germans " , or more expressive " fascist." " The German fascists ." - Russian don't call "American capitalists". Simply "Americans" or some more or less funny nicks. May be (in newspaper) "American imperialists"; - Russian do not usually say " Great Patriotic War". It is too solemn. Just "War" , such as " three brothers of my mother falled in the war ." In special cases - "World War II " . The First World is usually called the " imperialist " in common parlance , " the German ." - Pavlicenco did not fight against the " enemies of the party ." Her targets were the Germans and Romanians . And she used SVT, not Mosin (our army was armed with SVT in the beginning of war); - Russian generally did not talk about party politics , etc., except in a formal setting . - Russian wouldn't say "slave Chinese factories". This is an English term (in my opinion , launched into circulation by competitors of Steve Jobs). - The arm expert should know that Gatling gun chambered for Berdan rounds were in Russian Army ( kartechnitsa Gorlova ) ; - Russian wouldn't call Kalashnikov avtomat as "rifle" ; - Russian did not fight against the " tsarists ". In the Civil War of 1918-1921 . our opponents were "white " ("hares") and "invaders (intervents)." And so on . All of the above - manifestation of the American mythology about the Soviet Union and Russian . Well , for the pile, anecdote : " Best Graduate of School of American espionage CIA in Langley was parachuted into Russia . Dressed in a padded jacket , canvas boots and a fur hat with a bottle of vodka in his pocket, he came out of the woods and asked the old lady ," how to get to the train station, f...ck your mother ? " " And I will not tell you, because you are - an American spy ." " How did you know ? " " So we've got no blacks " But I like Ivan Chesnokov filosofy.

I re-read my text - I'm afraid it was somewhat offensive. But such a goal I hadn't. Indeed, our knowledge about other peoples are largely mythology. For example, Russian, seeing the man in the three-gallon hat, high boots and a tie-cord, most likely say, "typical Yankee". Although about America in the world know better, at least - more, because of its special status. All compare themselves with America. I personally don't use vodka, I haven't balalayka and bear, but modern myth about Russia is:

Vashper-I read nothing offensive at all in your earlier post. Your English is MUCH better than my Russian. .
