Two of my cousins and I took a mid-week day charter for Muskie with Brad Haggitt of Green Head Guide Service on Lake St. Clair. We weren't 15 minutes out of the Belle River dock and still putting lines in the water when we got our first strike. My cousin Jim Jensen brought in his first muskie and it proved to be a 51-incher!

We had a great day of fishing within sight of the Detroit skyline. Brad's goal is to average a strike an hour and we exceeded that as we boated over 20 muskie. Besides the 51" first fish three more were over 45 inches. All were released to fight another day.
