Does anyone know the gas/oil ratio mixture for a Yamaha 15HP 2 stoke moter made from 1980-1989 era?
Does 50:1 ratio sound right?

Current Yamaha outboards run on a 100:1 gasoil mixture and I beleive they recommend use of a synthetic lube - don't know what year or model they changed from a 50:1 ratio - you should be able to call a dealer and have them tell you.

but this is for a 2005 year model. And you really need to know what is correct for YOUR model motor.
