I am kinda new to this kite fishing thing. I have done a lot of offshore fishing and know trolling well. Here in NC as the season progress, the tuna become more and more finicky to anything trolled over them. Kite fishing has really taken off. I bought a kite from Finest Kind and have used it for king mackeral using pogies and king rigs. My question is when I am using live mullet or blues offshore for tuna and sails and whatever else comes along, should I briddle circle hooks to the bait or just run the hooks throught their midsection, above the lateral line. Also, how do you rig the plastic flying fish. They are supposed to work well too?
