I live here in Billings, MT and my father in law and I have started the conversation of possibly taking my son (12 years old) to canada next summer for a fishing trip.
I have never been fishing there but would like to try it.
We would like to go where we reasonably can catch pike and or walleye with fair confidence.
We would be willing to go with or without a guide.
Any general recommendations or suggested considerations are appreciated.
