Just back from a week with the North Dakota friends fishing the Nushagak River for king salmon.

Garth, (picture above,) Joe and his son Cody all had a good time and were fairly successful.





The fish pictured above I was thinking was in the 35# range but now I might think was no more than 30. I'm not sure it looks 35 in the picture.

Fortunately the Nushagak and Bristol Bay seem to have consistent strong returns of salmon. Combined with the halibut we bought in the harbor the two adults took home 125# each of fresh fish.
