Just finished a 5 day trip to Myrtle Beach. Had two incredible days fishing in the Lake Arrowhead region. I was about a mile south of the Arrowhead Pier at the creek inlet. Had a westerly wind and mild seas. Using cut mullet chunks netted from the creek I had 4 hrs of every cast action on the last hrs of falling tide and early hrs of rising tide. Bluefish(lots of doubles), Trout, and 3-8 lb Spot Tails(Redfish). Even nabbed an elusive Sheepshead.

Put the Bluefish up to eat or throw them back?

I ask because of the regional taste in fish and I am looking to see what is the thoughts on Bluefish in a lower Atlantic state.

I eat them. They are oily but if bled quickly, filleted, and soaked in salt water they are outstanding fried.
