Nice Snapper
Here's a snapper that I caught from my brothers trailer boat last Wednesday (Anzac Day).
They are relatively common around the southern Australian coastline but are generally not quite this large.
It went just shy of 30lbs.
Caught it using 15lb mono with a whole squid head for bait in about 50' of water.
One of the best eating fish in the sea IMO.

L. David KeithGreat looking fish Avatar! In our Gulf of Mexico, that fish would be called a Red Porgy or nicknamed White Snapper. Males have the high forehead and are referred to as bulls. Congrats, I've never seen one that large. LDK
