Took this owls pic behind my house a couple days ago. I noticed he had been hanging out for a while and thought I'd capture his image. Just a snapshot from a 35mm conventional camera. Rodney.

Guess this guy has taken up residence so maybe I'd better keep an eye on my 6 lb yorkshire terrier.

Looks like a Barred owl - eight hooter - "Who, cooks, for-you? Who, cooks, for- you all?" and the turkey hunters friend.

Usually focuses on mice but also will eat young rabbits, opossums, and squirrels so maybe your 6 lb hound would be interesting to him -- however they are primarily nocturnal.

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
