On February 17, analog TV will be a thing of the past. I have been holding off on a purchase of a TV for the transition. I'd like to know what kind of TV to get (720i or P; 1080i or p) that can also be used as a computer monitor. The idea of flying my flightsim across a 62-inch screen sounds like freaky fun.

I like the LCD ones but over 50" I think the Plasmas have advantage.

I have a Sony Bravia and love it. I think the picture is very natural.

You can do a fair bit of comparing specs etc.
But any good new TV is a pretty impressive bit of gear.
Try to see as many as you can and buy what you like.
