Does anyone have practical experience with Seek and/or Flir thermal imaging app for phones?

I looked at both and the Seek XR has a little more range than the Flir.

But if you are wanting something for hunting or surveillance applications, neither are suitable for that.

What application are you looking for in a thermal imaging system?

I want to be able to "see" wildlife in the dark out to 100+ yards.
The mount to a gun is interesting, but not practical as I see it at this point, or is it?

I just found that Caterpillar makes cell phones !!
For a niche market but large battery, can be dropped on concrete, in the water , and the latest one has a thermal imager!! Don't know if it would suit your needs .Check it out !

Our biggest customer for SEEK is our local police. They told me it will come in handy for night searches.

My wife bought me the SEEK. Pretty amazing device. Easy to use and works well.
