Better sound on my new TV?

Bought a new Samsung 1080p HDTV from the dead company(circut city). Picture is amazing but the sound sucks.
What can I get to have better sound. Not looking for a home theater setup, just basic but better sound.

Go back to CC and pick up one of the Micro stereo systems. I got a JVC that had DVD playback with Video Output so it was a perfect combination. Good Bass and loud too.

I got 26"Toshiba lcd hdtv from www.tigerdirect.com for $380 & a sony bravia stereo home theatre from best buy $267.74
