Any bird of prey that hunts fish for a living isn't much of a falconry bird.

Most states would not let you own one.

But you can eventually own a golden eagle, once you attain the master level.

Personally I think it's really hard to get past goshawks and red tails.

My Middle Eastern Falconry friends will probably disagree, as most of them like falcons.

You can train pretty much anything, including a goldfish......... Can one be used for falconry, well since they are fish catchers, it would probably make it hard.... buuuuuut....
