My afternoon's entertainment today was to watch a bald eagle feed on an opossum , most likely a road kill. It was in my field , 40 yards from the house !! They mostly feed on fish but will scavange road kills.... He didn't eat much of the large possum but today a crow was taking his share. I'll keep watching.....The eagle was back this morning , possum for breakfast !!
