I don´t know about Mongolia, but in South America lives the "harpia" eagle. She is entirely able to kill monkeys, also opposums. I understand it´s the biggest eagle of them all. Unfortunately I don´t have pictures, the bird seeming a gigantic horned owl.

I remember seeing an article in a National Geo about Mongol fox hunters using eagles. Perhaps a search on their site will turn up some pics.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

I dont know about a link but I have seen the video, years ago. my older brother is a falconer, when he got his license he was the youngest person in north america to ever get one, at 15, but someone younger may have by now.
anyway, the video was from mongolia, tibet, russia or the like and featured atleast one falconer on horse back. he used dogs to track down wolves and wild boar, then used a golden eagle to kill one. actually I believe in russia they are called steppe eagles, but just a subspecies.
I will ask him what the name of the video, or falconer who stars in the video is and post it, Im sure he still has the video.
and actually the largest eagle of them all is the Harpy sea eagle. the eagle you were thinking of, nainital, is the south american monkey eating eagle. the harpy almost only feeds on fish, but yeah...if it wanted to it could kill a monkey. just not manueverable enough to chase a monkey through thick jungles.

go to http://www.amazon.com and under books search for "Hawking With Golden Eagles". it has 60 color pictures and is $15. found it first on
http://www.northwoodsfalconry.com/ under falconry books, but it costs more there. looked at amazon.com since sometimes you can look inside the books they sell, but no luck.
