I have an "A" bolt in 22-250 and am well impressed with it. It doesn't have the Monte Carlo but the woodwork is lightly figured and well varnished. The receiver is black with a scroll engraving and the trigger is gold as is the Browning motif on the trigger guard. The magazine is drop down and can be detached (4 rounds)

man that'd be my choice for a 6.5x55 if they offered here in the states! my a-bolt shot well with anything i put in it. it was to the point that 1-1.25" for factory ammo became unacceptable lol

there is a good posibility this rifle/chambering is not offered anymore.

this company is knowned for buying up a number of guns gone out of production, and sell them cheap.

this spring they sold weatherby mark v(w/ stainless action) and sold them for a ridicilous 700$.
the only problem is that they only offer boring chamberings.

if i can scratch some money together, i have a real good feeling for this rifle.

What I liked on the site, was that it posted a CZ 550 for 4000 of your money, and yet a Rem SPS was 4995 of your money....

A CZ for 80% of the price of a Rem SPS????

That would be a no brainer!!!

And if one wanted a 6.5 x 55 on ANY type of an action, a gunsmith could set you up with whatever you wanted...

I can't see being at the mercy of the factory's marketing and sales dept to satisfy my needs...

I have 3 A Bolts ( the original ones, not the A Bolt II).... one in 338 Win, one in 300 Win and one in 30/06... both the mags shoot well, the 06 shoots so/so... each one has the synthetic stocks....

well, that is a good offer.
if it had been an american instead of the lux with that awful hogback stock.

normal prices are:
700 sps 5000-5500
cz 550 american 6500
and they are selling the a-bolt for 8500, exactly the same as a tikka t3 lite ss.

i've already given up cz since the lux has a hogback stock, and the american is 1lb to heavy.

and custom rifles is just too much stress
i rather buy a finished rifle.
