Does anyone know of a source for solid or FMJ bullets in .204 diameter? My friend is going to Namibia next month and would like to take some of the pygmy antelopes without "turning them inside out." Thank you! Good hunting, Jim

Tell him to use partitions or TSX. I don't know if you can find a solid bullet to use. I would not ever use a FMJ on game. But, depending on speed and bullet, you can still drill them. I poked a fine, 5" steenbok with a 300 wby, using Partitions, which blew a 3" hole on the aft side, but the taxi fixed it. Hi Joe, As far as I can tell, Barnes makes no bullets in .204 diameter. Nosler makes a Ballistic Tip in that diameter but no Partition. I hunted with the same PH as my buddly will shortly and he insisted on my using his .223 with military ball when I was hunting my Damara dik-dik. I did work perfectly, I do have to admit. All of the bullets that I can find in .204 are varmint bullets. Good hunting, Jim

Jim; I stand corrected. I shouldn't post until I have checked my info. I thought Barnes and Nosler got on board with that cal, but that is not so. I apoligize for shooting my mouth off. Moorepower is correct about the Hornady 45 gr soft point, which would be my choice under your circumstances. I still wouldn't feel comfortable in shooting FMJ on game, especially in Africa. Draw blood and you pay for the animal, regardless if you ever find it or not. Good luck.
