Hello,
I was wondering with Hornady's Vmax out, can Sierra and Nosler be far behind with their Blitzking and Ballistic tip bullets? I never realized this before, but below 22 caliber, the bulletmakers do not support us that well. Below 17 caliber, things get really tough. But in the past few days I have been reading about 17, 19, 14 and 12 calibers and it would seem that these would be more popular if we had more supplies.

yes, if we had more suppliers of bullets brass, cleaning rods and so forth, also if dies were cheaper and easier to get they would all be headliners

Joe,
All things considered, I don't think it's so bad. Bullets are available from Hornady, Berger, Starke, & Calhoon. Midway, Sinclair, Lock Stock & Barrel carry cleaning rods, brushes, jags, & supplies. The Woodchuck Den & Small Caliber News are aimed at these smaller, curious calibers. I have Redding dies, but Lee & RCBS also make dies & shell holders.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any other brass available than Remington (I prefer Winchester for my 243, 308 & 22 Hornet). Perhaps if more 17's are sold, more manufacturers will get on the band wagon.
Regards, George.

Brass is easy to be formed from what ever you want. With 17 Rem from 222 Mag or little short you can make them from 223, no need to trim for a little while

And also with the 17 MK4 you can make brass from 222 or 223 which opens you up to Lupa and Norma and all types of brass

Now for the rounds made from 218 Bee you are stuck with Whinchester
